A l’abril es publicarà la versió definitiva de l’Ubuntu 13.04 (de nom Raring Ringtail). Amb aquest motiu, la comunitat d’usuaris d’Ubuntu en català celebrarà a primers de maig la ja tradicional festa d’alliberament (Release Party). És per això que cerquem el lloc on fer-la i l’equip que organitzi l’esdeveniment.
Aquestes festes s’organitzen arreu del món, i l’equip d’ubuntaires en català hi ha participat sempre de forma molt activa, procurant fer-la a diferents llocs del territori.
En aquests esdeveniments pretenem difondre i apropar el programari lliure en general, i més concretament l’Ubuntu, al públic en general, proposant-los xerrades, tallers i, si així ho volen, ajudant-los a insta·lar l’Ubuntu al seu ordinador. No estan, per tant, enfocats a persones amb grans coneixements tècnics, tot i que també s’hi poden trobar activitats més avançades, si s’escau.

La seu la triarem d’entre les candidatures que es presentin fins el 15 de gener, a la reunió que farem els ubuntaires per irc el dia següent.

Innostuin sun blogin kautta lukemaan tän kirjan ja hyvä, että luin. Oli tosi mielenkiintoinen ja hyvä kirja. Alussa meinasin välillä tippua kärryiltä, kun ajassa hypeltiin sinne ja tänne ja välillä oli vaikeuksia muistaa kuka henkikö oli kukin, mutta muuten pidin. Varsinkin kirjan loppu, jossa kerrottiin Evan ja Hitlerin yhteisestä itsemurhasta oli kiinnostava. Kirja pyörii vieläkin mielessä ja mulle se on merkki siitä, että kirja on ollu hyvä. 🙂
